I worked as a lithographer and master printer for many years. I believe creativity and the passion to express it were always there; they just lay dormant for the right time. I seriously started sculpting after retiring. I work step by step and see where the process takes me. My work is a manifestation of many years of creative endeavors. I hope my portraits and sculptures of African American convey beauty, strength plus the broad spectrum of humanity.
